Deena is the lovely cloth doll artist of Fabby Menargerie on Etsy and here is her blog fabby Dolls. And here is little Amy, my favorite ~

Last year Deena's 3 teen sons were diagnosed with Choroideremia. This is a rare eye disease that results in progressive, and eventual vision loss.. At this time, there is no treatment or cure for this disease. Shocking eh? I simply can not imagine how my life would be without my sight.

Deena has set up a fundraising site to donate to the Choroideremia Research Foundation. Any donation would be gratefully received - $1 makes a difference. I can't buy my favorite chocolate for $1!

So, if everyone made a donation who visits my blog - look how much $1 would turn into! Please go visit Deena's blog Fabby Dolls for more info and she has the links to donate, if you are able to :O)

  1. Just tell me where to send it, Abi.

  2. Oh Abi, I am crying my eyes out right now (no pun intended!). You are the so sweet!! Little Amy can't wait to meet you. Thank you and my hope is for many blessings to come your way. xoxo

  3. You are lovely Georgina - thank you! just go to Deena's blog - she has the links, or drop her a line, and she will sort it. :O)

  4. Oh no! Chormoidermia sounds dreadful. I am so sorry for the boys, but count me in on the donation!

Anyway... greetings from Casa Hice in Jacksonville, Florida. I found you via A Fanciful Twist and noticed you have also signed up for her Halloween Event. This is my first time, so I am utterly clueless. Any tips for a newbie?

LOVE your blog, am pleased to make your acquaintance, and am looking forward to getting to know you better.

PS: Please stop by Casa Hice any time and leave your foot prints on my welcome mat. It's always out!
