Just lovely Abi xxx You'll soon have to open your shop !!!!! There is a new fabric shop in town...I'll have to go for a nose! Do you need anything..? k xx
Thanks everyone. No Connie, this mannequin was my first attempt at using paperclay - I liked it, although I don't like the feel of it wet on my hands, so it's a bit awkward! you should give it a go!
I'm running out of steam on this doll...it has taken so long and too many hours.... plus I hate to send her....hey...she is coming to Texas for the Hoffman challenge ... maybe I should send her to our house instead and you could fix her hair before the show sees her...hahahha....that is the thing I worry about... will it be fly away by the time it arrives? Will anybody smooth it down a bit..or attempt to fix it...how can I keep it in position? Never having a sent an actual doll before I don't know...I have only sent a few photos in the past and not even many of those....
honestly, I am seriously thinking of just not sending her at all....
WOW!! I love your ideas. The jewelry mannequin is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteBut the Lavender filled hearts are so ingenious. Beautiful work!!
