Not Missing :O)

Thank you everyone - Guess who was looking at me this morning? My beloved black cat! I can not tell you how relieved I am! 48 hours of Abi panic is not good - I nearly hugged him to death! he of course wondered what all the fuss was about! I think you are right Yve - he has just turned into a mature cat, and I guess he found a girl to hang out with? who knows. It's just that he has never left the property before - and if I couldn't see him, one call and he'd be by my side! Jesse thought the same thing, but I didn't believe him! I have never owned cats before, and they are so independent aren't they? I'm intrigued to learn more about the October V black cat thing - is that to do with Halloween or something? he is totally black, with brilliant green eyes, and is the most lovable chap ever. I hoped that if I posted about my concerns, he would come back - it's worked so far - what with Doves healing extra quickly and learning to fly etc etc - must be due to everyone's prayers and good wishes! T H A N K Y O U :O) (now I feel a bit silly for over-reacting! :O)

  2. Sorry about that - only grabbed half of my post! I was saying - don't feel silly, I would be upset if Buddy dog did not come when I called but cats really like to do their own thing. PS - still working on the blogger award thingy.

  3. Cats do that...they're like naughty teenagers!!! I love cats, but I have 2 Chihuahuas. Once, the meter reader from the gas company left the gate open and my 2 babies got out. For about 2 hours I kept hearing my Maya barking and discovered they weren't in their usual place, on the couch. I went outside to the front of the house and there they were, just sitting there by my planter. Maya was letting me know they were out there. I suppose they knew where there next meal was going to be and didn't want to miss that!!

  4. No I wouldn't feel bad over reacting... when an animal doesn't come home ( and that's their mo) I would have been scared witless...

    its such a relief, i kept thinking, i hope Abi's cat comes back, i hope Abi's cat comes back...im glad he's safe! we had a black cat in America, i found her on the road when she was not 3 weeks old. i still miss her{we had to leave her there because it turned out she was a special breed but had a blood disease, highly traumatic}
    how lucky for these animals that they find you!!!
    so many dearest wishes

  10. Hurrah ^-.-^
    Glad he's home - they say there are no true black cats left in Britain because the Witch Finders had them all killed. I've had a few black kitties but they always had a few white hairs here and there, the Witch Finders weren't allowed to kill them :o)

  14. Oh I am so happy for you!!! I know you were devestated and you did not over react at all. How wonderful that the black kitty came back! I suppose when they are outdoor kitties, they do tend to stray.
    A wonderful day!!!
