The Traveling Doll Project & my latest Etsy Treasury....

This is Ruby, my naked-ish doll for the TDP - she will be leaving for Ankeny, Iowa soon.  I can't wait to see what Cindee does with her - Cindee is one talented artist - click HERE to visit her website.
The first doll I will be working on is Nancy's - she has created a wizard!  I have never worked on a chap before, so it'll be an interesting challenge! click HERE to visit her blog and see what she's been up to!

The Traveling Doll Project

What is the traveling Doll Project?

This project is a collaboration of artists who are members of the Art Doll Only Team, all working individually on a group doll. Each artists starts a doll, and sends it to one of her team mates, who will continue to work on the doll, then sends it on to the next artist, and so on. This year we have 28 members participating that have been split into 7 teams.

Each doll will take a journey...starting and ending in the same place with a whole new look and story. A journal will travel with each doll that will tell the story from the start, middle, and the end of the dolls adventure.
This blog is a online journal where participants will share the adventure with you.... Currently Cindy is doing a fantastic job showcasing all the artisits ~ go check them out ~ Art Doll Only Traveling Doll Blog.

I have started my doll and journal, it's been great fun so far!  Wish I didn't have to go back to work tomorrow, I'm loving all this doll time!

Hello!

Happy New Year guys and gals! Hope it's a good one for you. I can't believe a month has wizzed by!
This is Jesse, wearing his new hat! very dashing.

I have just returned from visiting my family and friends in England ~ my Grandma is on the mend, out of Hospital, but now has to cope with a Rehabilitation Nursing Home, until deemed fit to return home... at 98 she's doing a fine job!

It was wonderful being home for a while....  I forgot how narrow the roads were, and how many bikes there are!
I can really appreciate the beauty of my hometown Cambridge now, especially since I don't have to deal with the rush hour traffic!

Cambridge City Centre~ market square

Never thought I'd miss seeing a telephone box and post box!
and finally, The River Cam.........
